... from all over the world have made their decisions: the audience awards of the 4th international internet dance festival SideBySide-net go to the Israeli Anat Katz (1st prize), the Cuban Alexeider Gonzales (2nd prize) and the Argentinean Carolina Zimmermann (3rd prize) – congratulations!
Anat Katz got about 31 per cent of the votes and thus received the biggest appreciation by the audience. Her piece „number 8“ tells the story of a saleswoman who sells surveillance cameras and microphones until she develops a paranoia of being spied herself. The Cuban Alexeider Gonzales (20,7 per cent) used the mutual interactions between music and dance to create a world of dream sounds („sonidos de un sueño“), while the Argentinean Carolina Zimmermann (18 per cent) presented associations of feelings, motives and perceptions with her solo piece „Night“. Apart from that, all six nominees can now celebrate the success of having reached such a big and broadly spread audience all together!
