Magali Sander Fett was born in Brazil. First she learned Ballet and Modern Dance in Porto Alegre, then she studied at Folkwang Hochschule in Essen. She worked with different Choreographers like Rodolpho Leoni, Susanne Linke, Mark Sieczkarek and Urs Dietrich. In 2000 she became a member of the Bremer dance-theatre under the direction of Urs Dietrich. In 1999 her choreography „Sola“ won the 2nd price in the competition „best German dance solo“ in Leipzig. In 2003 her piece „VegeTable“. received the Critic-price of the 17th competition for choreographers in Hannover. In 2004 she took the opportunity to create the feature-length piece named “Superstars”, which arose out of a residency at the PACT Zollverein in Essen. In 2007 she won the “Audience Price” of “Tanzherbst Festival” in Dresden.
