Otto Bubenicek finished his education at the "Conservatory of Dance" in Prague. In 1992 he and his brother Jiri won the "Prix d'Escpeces" at the Prix de Lausanne, whereof Arte TV has produced a TV documentation ("The Ballet-Twins"). Since 1995, Otto is a principal dancer at the Hamburg Ballet, where he took on several leading parts in pieces of John Neumeier and other renowned choreographers. On top of that, in the course of time he had guest appearances in Basel, Budapest, Dresden, Copenhagen, Lyon, Lausanne, Prague, St.Bart, St.Petersburg, Stuttgart and Tokyo. In Japan and Czech Republic he gave classes in classical ballet. In 2002 he successfully prepared Arsen Megrabian for the 20th international Ballet-Competition "Varna 2002": Arsen won the "Jubilee Prize" and a gold medal. Further information at www.bubenicek.net
