"An apparently normal life can suddenly turn into an unexpected story, a dream or plain memory. One might regard this a natural sounds, but what would happen if the echo awakes another creature? This is why I dealt with the imaginary power of the sudden and unexpected and used means of music and dance to create a moving world of dream sounds (sonidos de un sueño)."

Alexeider Abad Gonzales studied at the arts university Regino Eladio Boti. As a dancer he was part of "Danza Fragmentada" in Guantanamo and "Danza teatro Retazos" in Havana. Afterwards he studied at Folkwang Hochschule in Essen, where he worked (among others) with Pina Bausch („Sacre de printemps“, Wuppertal, Tokio and Brussels 2004-2007), La fura dels Baus („Zauberflöte“, Bochum 2003) and Susanne Linke („Skizzen“, Essen 2006). Since then he works as a freelance dancer, choreographer and educator. Together with Pavlina Cerna he founded the dance theatre Entre Pasos.
