"Black and white are magnetic fields wherein man and woman attract and repel each other, construct their own world, leave it and re-define it. What acticvates them and what removes them from each other? Are there rules? How do experience, presence, direction, smell, taste and the whole framework of individual preferences organise? Which impulses do we experience and how do we react? Simultan investigates the rules of the game in the plumbing of space and the opportunities it creates. Thereby the border becomes a place between irritation and stabilisation - or a zone that captures even most subtle patterns of movement."
