"My film "Meditation No. 509" wants to invite spectator to follow its associated mind. Every sequence of the film tries to make you walking in the shoes of the dancer Geraldo Si - reduced to a minimum and abstracted to a maximum. "Meditation No. 509" is a short and quite film. Up to the present it has been my most melancholy and deepest emotional film maybe!"

Frank N graduated from his film studies in Dortmund and Buffalo NY. Most of his shorts are produced by himself. Arte, VIVA2, WDR and ZDF-Theaterkanal show his shorts. His films of dancing - "(re)deflection" (2002) and "Kleine Meditationen über drei Elemente" (2003) - are very successful on television. NOEXIT-Film is the name of his own production company.
In a lot of projects he cooperates with former dancers of Pina Bausch - like Jakob Andersen, Chrystel Guillebeaud and Geraldo Si. Frank N puts two productions on the stage and gets good reputations as a photographer. Recently he is drafting a movie and he is working on a documentation of the musician Joseph Bowie (Defunkt).
