Wilkie Branson is a self-trained Bboy. Having started dancing in 2001, he has followed a pathway, which ignores boundaries that dissect art-forms and dance styles, working extensively with film, text and the expressive paradigm of the Bboy-form. Much of the work he has done has been with Champloo Dance Company, exploring this expressive avenue in bboying. This has predominantly been through site specific film works. Most recently, he was commissioned to produce a White Caps, a full length film of expressive bboying work for the Bristol Old Vic.
