Arantxa Sagardoy

Titled In classical (a student of Victor Ullate Carmina Ocaña, Maria de Avila) and contemporary dance (Instituto del Teatro de Barcelona). Her career as an interpreter has been developed in different companies as Vicente Saez, Santiago Sempere ,Lais dance ... but her career as a choreographer, was consolidated in 2000 with the co-direction for the company “Patas Arriba”. In 2007 created de Company Plan B, in Tarragona , Spain, where she works with Alfredo Bravo as a choreographer, dancers and producers. Her choreographies , among which we find “Tres cuentos de dos”,”Vertigos”,”Senvanar”,”La Cenicienta”,”Visions”… have been represented by countries like France, Korea, United States, Costa Rica, Chile, Lithuania, Morocco,Egypt ... has received awards as a choreographer, has created works for her company ,for the "UNA" of Costa Rica,and for the "New York Summer Dance International". During 2008 she Works like a Co-choreographer of Cirque du Soleil , directed by Julien Gabriel. Asistent of Choreography by Jose Martinez at the Opera de Paris, in the "Les Enfants du Paradis". In 2009, dance like guest dancer with the Company Incidence Choreographique (dancers from Paris Opera). Choreography “Romeo and Juliet” and “Instantánea fugaz” for The Young Ballet Victor Ullate. And receives the award Anneus Florus Lucius, for his remarkable artistic career. And work with Shanghai Ballet like a Assistant Choreographer, for the Production of Marco Polo.
