Maya and Tomer met at 'Telma Yellin' art high school. They have been working together for two decades now, performed in Holland, England, China, Armenia, Germany and USA, and even established their own ensemble. Maya and Tomer won the Prize for Young Choreographers of the Israeli Ministry of Culture, Science and Sports (2006) and the first prize in the German "No Ballet" competition (2008). Other joined works are: Black Candles, Became one (1'st and 2'nd prize - Gvanim competition - 1991), Rococo (Curtain Up Festival in Suzanne Dellal Center - 1993), Hille (first prize in competition conducted by the British Consulate -1994, third prize in competition in Groningen Holland -1995), Wedding (2002), Full Moon, Horses, Elephant Skin, (Intimadance Festival in Tmuna Theatre - 2003, 2004), Keep Walking, Happiness, Dinner (Curtain Up Festival - 2004, 2005, 2006), Happiness and Died (Intimadance Festival – 2007). The two have also started to create separately: Maya’s independent works are Olympia (2008), The Black Sea (Curtain Up Festival - 2008) and Alaska (2010), Tomer’s are Monk (Curtain Up Festival - 2008), Red sand (2009) and Air (2010). Recently Maya and Tomer participated in the Israeli week in the LaMaMa theatre in New York. They are both members of the Israeli choreographers association.
